01 · The idea
AWAY brings a small, curated set of design brands together with the region's finest architecture and interior design studios, in a riverside destination, for a single overnight stay of introductions, conversation and good company. Unhurried, intentionally intimate, and built around a room that genuinely matters to the city's design community.
02 · The 24 hours
Not a trade show. Not a ballroom of booths. Each brand has its own setting within the property, and the studios move through them in small, curated groups, so every brand meets every studio.

03 · The venue
Taj Ganga Kutir is a riverine sanctuary set across a hundred-acre estate on the banks of the Ganga, a scenic drive from Kolkata. Fort-style architecture, sweeping riverside lawns and a palette of rustic elegance: exactly the kind of place a design community can slow down, stay the night, and truly talk.
04 · Who is in the room
A personally invited guest list of architecture and interior design studios from Kolkata and the region, the practices that specify for the city's most considered homes, hospitality and workplaces. Alongside them, a small design-led set of ten brands across surfaces, bath, lighting, furniture, flooring, finishes and more.

There are no booths and no aisles. Each brand has its own setting, and studios rotate through them in small groups so every brand meets every studio, followed by a conversation, dinner and an overnight stay.
